Flavours Restaurant

Flavours Restaurant is an open air restaurant popular among expats and tourists for their comprehensive menu and fresh food. They offer a huge array of freshly prepared dishes from the Western, Khmer, Italian and Thai cuisine. It is a delightful restaurant and cafe perfectly located on the corner of Street 282 and Street 51 in BKK 1.

The Canadian-Khmer owned and managed restaurant has newly added a healthy section to their menu, including calories, proteins and carbohydrates count. The healthy menu is prepared by a nutritionist with carefully selected natural foods, such as green and leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and beans. Only pure vegetable oil is used. No MSG or canned vegetables.

Breakfast specials range from a healthy bowl of muesli with fruit salad, thru’ omelettes or pancakes with syrup to a full English or all American breakfast with the works plus fresh fruit juice and coffee or tea for just US$5.50.

An eclectic choice of appetizers includes crisp fried spring rolls, spicy chicken wings and more, while our soup and salad selection reflects the truly international inspiration in the kitchen, embracing pumpkin coriander or carrot soup plus Thai tom yam, salad Nicoise, Greek or chef’s salad among many others.

Burger lovers will appreciate the options available, while the menu’s sandwich selection includes a classic ham and cheese baguette, club sandwich, tuna salad and grilled ham and cheese.

Flavours’ entrees fall neatly into four distinct categories – Western, Khmer, Italian and Thai. Diners with an appetite will be delighted with the choice on offer: pork or chicken schnitzel, beef or chicken tacos, fried chicken, fish and chips, pork chops or prime fillet of beef with your choice of sauce… plus much more, all served with French fries and veggies.

The Italian section covers a range of pasta dishes (alio e’olio, pesto, bolognaise, carbonara, seafood etc.), while the pizza selection includes all the favourite toppings in three sizes.

Those seeking a taste of Asia will seize the opportunity to sample some classic Khmer specialties including fried rice, stir-fried vegetables, fish Amok, chicken curry and of course beef Loc Lac, while the menu’s Thai section offers a chance to savour delicacies such as Pad Thai fried noodles, red or green curried chicken and spicy minced pork, beef or chicken among other tasty dishes.

The menu closes with a mouth-watering array of desserts including chocolate mousse, crepe suzette, profiteroles, tiramisu, flambéed banana crepe and a choice of ice cream as well as banana split.
