Craft Peace Cafe (Shop)

In the entrance of the Café they have a shop area where they sell handcrafted products that are made in their workshop (Banteay Prieb) by artisans with physical challenges. The offer handcrafted sculptures with traditional Cambodian and religious designs, and handcrafted bags, wallets, necklaces and other intricate items made of beautiful fabrics. They also accept orders for customized wooden furniture and steel playground equipment.  All the furniture is their shop is designed and fabricated in their own carpentry and welding workshops.

Behind the Shop area you will find the Café, that is a cozy and inviting café with uniquely designed furniture and pleasant music that creates a peaceful atmosphere. The café is fully air-conditioned and offers free wireless internet connection. They offer coffee from the local region, fresh tropical fruit juices, smoothies, pocket-shaped sandwiches with local ingredients, salads, brownies and croissants.

The Shop and the Café is located opposite Boeung Keng Kang High School just a 100 meter from Boeung Keng Kang Market.

Le Café Mith Samlanh

Whether you want to improve your French, taste Khmer and French cuisine or surf the internet with a coffee, Le Café Mith Samlanh is your choice. Situated in the lush garden of the French Cultural Center, the café serves breakfasts from 7.00am onwards and offers an extensive à la carte menu with Khmer and French dishes starting from 8,000R.

In the afternoon, you can wind down after work with our Happy Hour from 5 – 7pm or join one of the regular events organized by the French Cultural Center.

All proceeds will go towards the development of Mith Samlanh’s (see Friends-International) programs.

Friends the Restaurant

A visit to Phnom Penh would not be complete without enjoying a meal at Friends the Restaurant. Now in its 10th year of operation, the training restaurant has become a real favorite for many people. Indulge in great western-style tapas, surprising specials, frozen daiquiris and Khmer Smiles from our former street youth in training, who with their teachers, run the restaurant.

Romdeng

The best things are found in the most unexpected places. Tucked away on Street 174 you will find our Cambodian training restaurant, Romdeng, run by former street youth in training. Set in a beautiful colonial building, Romdeng serves a great variety of Cambodian food ranging from almost forgotten recipes from the provinces to contemporary creative Cambodian cuisine. Allow yourself some time to enjoy the pool and free WIFI. Romdeng can also provide catering for weddings, functions and parties and can host events for up to 160 people. Special lunch set menu every day.

Lotus Blanc

Enjoy delicious food and support a good cause!

Lotus Blanc offers Asian and Western cuisines prepared and served by students from the Hotel Training School at Pour un Sourire d’Enfant(PSE).

The PSE Hotel School was created in 2002 to support underprivileged students in accessing quality education and training. Today, there are more than 400 students studying in each of the 6 hotel training school programs. More than 98% of students gain employment after they have graduated. Currently, more than 1,000 students from PSE are working in Cambodia’s hotel and restaurant industry.

In order to reach the highest level of service, quality and meet industry demands, practical experience is essential for their students. Lotus Blanc Restaurant was created as a training restaurant with the aim of providing an opportunity for all students to engage in hands-on experience.

They offer a special buffet on Friday’s and happy hour from 5pm-7:30pm.
